To make an analogy we hope isn't too gruesome, if a website is like the human body, then

• HTML is the skeleton, the structure of the page
• JavaScript is the muscle, making everything move
• CSS is the skin, making everything look attractive and distinctive

In this guide, we'll be looking at how these three languages work together to create good looking, accessible and dynamic web pages. The guides aim to give you just enough to get up and running, and we certainly will not be documenting every single feature.
