Follow the quick steps below, or head over to the official docs for more information.

1. Head over to the downloads page and download the package for Mac.

2. Install the downloaded package and launch VS Code.

3. Open VS Code, and then open the command palette by pressing Cmd + Shift + P. Type "shell command" in the command palette and select "install code command in PATH".

4. Open a fresh zsh terminal and type code --version to check it has installed properly.
